身長180・・・は嘘で、167センチの私が持ってこんな感じです。
手が短いから床につかないんだろう？ほっといてください。
床にはそう簡単につきはしないかな、という寸法。その分、冬のダウンとか着てると肩掛けもきつそうな寸法ではありますが。

6ボタンBD、タックインするには落ち着く長さ。
首の「ぐわっと」開くのは好みが分かれるでしょうね。
あと、Modified BDとネック周りは同じなのに緩く感じる。それは当たり前で、身頃第一ボタンの位置が低いから、「わっか」としての寸法が大きい＝緩く感じる。
台襟を止めてしまえば同じ寸法になるのですが。
ベーカーはギリギリ硫化時代のものかな？いや、スレンだったか・・・何本も自分でも買っては穿いてるので定かではなく。落ち具合からすると硫化かな？
私が20代後半ぐらいはスリム全盛だったので、こういうぶっといズボンを穿いていると珍しかった。特に、児島で勤めていたので、周りの若者たちは妙に「時代感」に敏感。そんな中、ぶっといチノパンやベーカー。あげくボタンダウンシャツ、オールデンの短靴とか着てると浮くこと浮くこと。
ただ、ほめてもらったのも覚えています。まだ勤めをしてたころ。その日もパンツ・シャツ、オールデンのストレートチップ穿いて裁断仕事していました。
自分としては、Men at workのあの写真で見た世界の中にいる人。
で、勤め先のお客様、聖林公司の企画の方に「いい靴履いてるね！」と通りすがりに言われました。いや、今思うとオールデンほめられただけか？
まぁ、良い思い出なので、全体をほめられたという事にしておきましょう。靴だけ良けりゃいいって話ではなくて、あの若かりし日の私は、たぶん輝いていた「はず」です。
私の根っこはアメカジ。ジーンズ、フライトジャケット、スウェット、Gジャン。そこからワークウェア、カバーオール、ワークシャツ、ワークパンツでした。
20代後半、そこから一歩踏み出して、アメトラや1920-30年代のクラシックに興味を持ち、色々着て、考えて。そうやって、あっちにフラフラ、こっちにユラユラして来たから今の自分があります。芯は「服が好き」というだけで、テイストは色々。
細野晴臣聞いてて良いなぁと思うのも「音楽好きなんだろうな」というだけで、ジャンルはゆーらゆらしていること。芯があれば、あとは何でも自分の気持ち・興味の赴くまま、自由に生きていきたいす。

The 6-button BD has a length that feels just right for tucking in.
The wide-open neckline is probably a matter of taste.
Also, even though the Modified BD and the neck area are the same, it feels loose. That's natural because the position of the first button on the body is low, so the size of the “loop” is large = it feels loose.
If you fasten the stand-up collar, it will be the same size.
Are the Baker trousers from the sulfur era? No, maybe they were slen... I've bought and worn so many pairs myself that I'm not sure. Judging from the way its fade, maybe they're sulfur?
In my late twenties, slim-fit pants were all the rage, so it was rare to see someone wearing thick pants like these. I worked in Kojima, where the young people around me were strangely sensitive to “the spirit of the times.” In that environment, wearing thick chinos and Baker pants, and to top it off, button-down shirts and Alden shoes, made me stand out like a sore thumb.
However, I also remember receiving compliments. That was when I was still working at sewing factory. That day, I was cutting fabric wearing pants, a shirt, and Alden straight-tip shoes.
I felt like I was in the world I saw in that "Men at Work" photo.
Then, a client at my workplace, a planner at Seirin Corporation, said to me as he passed by, “Nice shoes!” No, now that I think about it, was he just complimenting my Aldens?
Well, it's a good memory, so let's just say he complimented the whole outfit. It wasn't just about having good shoes. Back in those younger days, I was probably shining.
My roots are in Amekaji.
Jeans, flight jackets, sweatshirts, denim jackets. From there, it was workwear, coveralls, work shirts, work pants.
In my late twenties, I took a step further, becoming interested in American traditional and 1920s-30s classics. I tried wearing different things, thinking about it. That's how I ended up here, drifting here and there. My core is simply “I love clothes,” but my tastes are varied.
What I like about listening to Haruomi Hosono is that he just seems to love music, regardless of genre. If you have that core, then everything else should be about following your feelings and interests freely.
